Job Description

Ares Management is seeking a Campus Recruiter to join the firm’s Global Campus Recruiting team. The Campus Recruiter will report directly to the Head of Campus Recruitment. The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for full life-cycle recruitment for US Summer Analyst and Analyst searches, across business groups and geographies.

Ares is a fast-paced, high growth and constantly evolving environment; to succeed, the Campus Recruiter will need a flexible skills, including the ability to think strategically, complete tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.

Primary Functions And Essential Responsibilities

Campus recruiting focuses on early identification of candidates in their academic career through internship and full-time opportunities out of university. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, educational institutions, student groups and the business
  • Constantly innovate to keep Ares as an employer of choice on campus; develop strategic diversity events focused on casting a wide net for dedicated diverse students
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to establish and/or design a tailored recruiting approach at designated school(s) to achieve demand
  • Leverage recruiting knowledge, recruitment results and competitive market intelligence to drive strategies and influence key internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs
  • Serve as a "Brand Ambassador" to expand our internal & external footprint to build the Ares brand
  • The individual selected for this role must have the ability to quickly acquire an understanding of relevant firm businesses, recruiting policies, procedures, and systems. Individual must have a consultative approach toward clients and the ability to build strong relationships and influence others. Individual must have a willingness to step outside of comfort zone and try new methodologies and approaches in the spirit of innovation
  • Have a pulse on and research hiring trends and driven market intelligence, and leverage recruiting knowledge to drive strategies, compile recruitment dashboards and presentations and influence key stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs
  • Source dedicated candidates through a variety of means, including events, advertising and databases
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, educational institutions, and the business
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews
  • Lead all administrative tasks, including updating recruitment databases, job descriptions, applicant tracking system

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in HR or Recruitment, preferably with some spent in Campus Recruiting, specifically
  • Prior financial services or professional services industry experience required
  • Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Workday is a plus

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$100,000-$130,000
