Role Summary

The Associate Recruiter is an innovative, strategic, passionate Talent Acquisition Partner who reports into the Talent Acquisition Manager for Saks Global. This person is responsible for the recruitment and selection activities across the Merchandising (Buying & Planning) and Marketing functions for high volume roles. The Associate Recruiter will manage full cycle recruitment and be expected to develop new sourcing and recruiting strategies, building a diverse pipeline of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in talent acquisition (experience in retail/fashion recruiting is a plus)
  • Experience using Google Suite is preferred
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking systems and Candidate Relationship Management tools

Role Description

  • Manage full cycle recruitment: This includes, but is not limited to; research, sourcing (cold-calling), pre-screening, interviewing, qualifying, referencing, offer negotiation and placement management for early career level and high volume hires (i.e. individual contributor roles).
  • Build strong internal relationships: Collaborate with People Business Partners and Hiring Managers to recommend, develop and implement recruitment strategies and programs. Build and present reporting analytics & talent maps for difficult searches.
  • Develop external relationships: Build and maintain critical role candidate pipelines and present findings to key Hiring Managers and People Business Partners. Attend networking events and learning seminars to develop strong pipelines while developing a strong presence.
  • Maintain top results and strive for excellence: Always meet or exceed recruiting metrics set out for the function.
  • Identify Opportunities: Participate as an active member of the Talent Acquisition team, assisting with the development and realization of the Talent Acquisition strategic plans and goals.
