Full time Attorney - Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate - Multiple Positions

An AMLaw 100 Firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join our Investment Funds group. This position is available in our Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Washington, D.C., and California offices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with investments in, or the formation of, domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. Experience with secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles is a plus.

We are looking for candidates with immediately transferable skills and a strong academic background. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and writing abilities, attention to detail, good business judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

The Primary Responsibility Of This Position Will Be To Assist With The Day-to-day Operations Of The Investment Funds Group. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To, The Following Tasks

• Providing legal advice to investment funds and their managers on a variety of issues, including compliance with the SEC regulations
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as investment agreements, subscription agreements, and operating agreements
• Providing guidance on the structuring and formation of investment funds
• Working with investment funds and their managers to resolve regulatory issues
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• At least 3-6 years of experience working in the investment funds industry
• Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you are applying
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  

Pay Transparency

In accordance with California and New York's Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in California or New York, is $260,000 – $390,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
