Audit Manager - Operations and Compliance

Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a leading Financial Institution, based in Charlotte, NC, that is looking to hire an Audit Manager - Compliance and Operations.

As an Audit Manager - Compliance and Operations, you will:

• Lead and execute on the Banks Risk-Based Compliance and Operations audit plan, covering all regulatory and operational audits, adhering to industry standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Have a deep understanding of the companies regulatory environment, and any applicable laws, regulations and policies.
• Have a strong understanding of Basel, Heightened Standards, SR 08-8, Fed 13-1, Enhanced Prudential Standards, etc.
• Be able to lead audit reviews for RCSA, risk appetite, governance and culture, loss data and secondline monitoring and testing programs.
• Prepare and summarize audit reports to senior management, Board level Committees and stakeholders, whilst developing long-lasting, collaborative relationships.

As an Audit Manager - Compliance and Operations, you will need:

• 5+ years’ Audit or Compliance experience within a bank or financial institution.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar
• CIA, CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CFE or other relevant certification is preferred
• Ability to utilize data and data anlytics tools is a bonus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
