Key Responsibilities
As a Basic Education Associate 2, you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing school safety through program development and technical assistance. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing statewide plans to provide anti-violence resources to schools.
Overseeing the creation of emergency and crisis management plans for schools.
Collaborating with statewide committees and organizing Safe Schools' IU Regional Coordinators.
Conducting policy reviews to strengthen school safety measures.
This role will involve occasional travel throughout Pennsylvania to collaborate with school entities, community organizations, government agencies, and local police departments. Your expertise in program development, data analysis, leadership, and relationship-building will be crucial in driving positive change within Pennsylvania's educational landscape.
Work Schedule And Additional Information
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break.
Telework: Telework options available part-time, with in-office presence required on Thursdays. Telework requires a secure high-speed internet connection and an approved Pennsylvania-based work location.
