We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to steer our thriving Los Angeles branch. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial growth and expand the branch's market presence.
  • Lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of motivation and success.
  • Equip operations staff with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the operations, brokerage, and sales teams.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients through various channels to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team across various departments.
  • Ensure timely and effective responses to all customer inquiries and requests.
  • Mediate conflicts and promote respectful communication across departments.
  • Oversee the branch's financial health and collaborate with the corporate headquarters for strategic planning.
  • Forge strong relationships with other branches, both domestically and internationally.
  • Implement corporate strategies and establish a robust presence in the Los Angeles market.
  • Take full responsibility for the branch's overall performance.
  • Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • This is an on-site role, requiring the ability to work at the branch location in Carson, CA.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with a track record of success.
  • Proven expertise in the freight forwarding sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Los Angeles region.
  • Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Transportation, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Ability to create a trusting and productive work environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various branch roles to support staff effectively.
  • Proficient in performance management and problem-solving.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with diverse cultures and international business acumen.
  • In-depth industry knowledge and a commitment to continuous growth.
