We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to steer our thriving Los Angeles branch. Key Responsibilities
Drive commercial growth and expand the branch's market presence.
Lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of motivation and success.
Equip operations staff with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
Set clear goals and objectives for the operations, brokerage, and sales teams.
Maintain regular contact with clients through various channels to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team across various departments.
Ensure timely and effective responses to all customer inquiries and requests.
Mediate conflicts and promote respectful communication across departments.
Oversee the branch's financial health and collaborate with the corporate headquarters for strategic planning.
Forge strong relationships with other branches, both domestically and internationally.
Implement corporate strategies and establish a robust presence in the Los Angeles market.
Take full responsibility for the branch's overall performance.
Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
This is an on-site role, requiring the ability to work at the branch location in Carson, CA.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with a track record of success.
Proven expertise in the freight forwarding sector.
In-depth knowledge of the Los Angeles region.
Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Transportation, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong financial management skills.
Exceptional communication abilities.
Ability to create a trusting and productive work environment.
Comprehensive understanding of various branch roles to support staff effectively.
Proficient in performance management and problem-solving.
