You will:

• Concept, evolve, and deliver design that will live in high-visibility projects.

• Synthesize information from various sources, including stakeholders, self-directed research, and marketing content to create a clear, engaging, and well-structured design narrative.

• Collaborate across our organization to bring the Cognizant brand to life in multi-channel brand experiences, such as:

o Office design

o Thought leadership and content marketing (videos, podcasts, articles, digital applications)

o Corporate website and intranet

o Advertising campaigns

o Social media

o Events

o Employee experiences

• Explore extending our identity through new approaches to color, pattern and motion.

• Help drive the brand vision through design explorations and creative learnings, and present those ideas to stakeholders across the company.

• Lead and participate in creative briefs and critiques, ensuring that designs meet brand objectives and expectations.

• Manage multiple projects from conception to completion under tight deadlines.


The ideal candidate …

• Has a minimum of 7 years’ experience in brand design within a fast-paced agency or in-house design team.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Is passionate about bringing a high level of creativity and innovation to B2B marketing.

• Is a charismatic communicator who knows exactly how to get people on board with their bold ideas.

• Is driven to innovate brand strategy and expression and raise the bar with every project.

• Completed classic training in and practical understanding of composition, typography and information hierarchy, and designing to a grid.

• Can share a strong portfolio with examples of applying a brand to a range of marketing touchpoints like offices, environments, digital, swag, you name it. The ability to push the boundaries of a visual identity without breaking it is a plus.

• Has proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software, of course. Proven use of generative AI in the creative process is a plus.

• Has excellent communication and collaboration skills to ideate creative ideas with the creative team and present them convincingly to key stakeholders.

• Can solve problems creatively and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining quality.

• Is a lifelong learner, eager to push the boundaries of design and branding.

• Enjoys collaborating with others, embodying Cognizant’s values by treating people with respect within and outside the team and the company.

• Names their layers.
