Job Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather functional, behavioral, and interface requirements
Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business
Track and analyze project deployment issues
Assist with the development and execution of test plans
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements
Provide current and future state process mapping in support of project requirements
Maintaining, testing and improving business and systems operations
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction
Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met
Communicating ideas and viewpoints to senior management
Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups
Job Qualifications
7+ years of industry related work experience in a professional or management capacity
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, IT or any related field
Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Access is advantageous
The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Solid understanding of Business Requirements gathering phase and translating user stories to applicable implementation strategies
Highly productive, both working alone and in a team environment
Multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment
Expertise in the Data Visualization utilizing various reporting tools.
Ability to work independently, conduct research, and present findings.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to write formal reports.
Data Quality and Business Intelligence Best Practices knowledge.
Ability to travel to various worksite locations or departments
