Business Development Assistant Project Manager

Dynamic and growing retail company is looking for TWO Business Development Assistant Project Managers! The Business Development APM will provide support and manage projects related to the Business Development team in the pursuit of new opportunities within MRG/IMEG’s portfolio of existing and potential retail locations in a variety of markets; airports, casinos/resorts, high traffic tourist destinations and travel retail venues.

What You'll Do

• Ensures all BD output meet WHSmith brand standards
• Assists and supports the Divisional Director for Business Development and Project Manager on presentations for direct negotiations and client presentations supporting Resorts/Casinos, Rail, and Airport RFP’s, direct negotiations, and Interviews
• May act as project manager where the Project Manager, Business Development and Team BD is working on multiple projects
• Maintains the proof-reading process with third parties to ensure RFP compliance and accuracy
• Manages the coordination of various elements of RFP responses with other departments
• Maintains Business Development projects from an administrative perspective
• Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors as appropriate
• Professionally communicates with third parties such as Clients, Landlords, Minority Business Partners, Industry Consultants, Third Party Brand Partners and Vendors
• May attend a variety of inter department meetings
• Ensures that all aspects of the Development Process are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements
• Leads tasks pertaining to Projects and RFP process and development
• Manages, sources, and organizes the assembly and packaging of the final RFP proposals, and potential hand delivery of same within the appropriate timeline
• Works well under stress and tight deadlines and timelines
• Maintains reports and make team members aware of priorities to prevent delays within the project
• To conduct him/herself in the spirit of the WHSNA mission, vision, core values and organizational health
• Other duties may be assigned

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience working with high level, fast paced B2B sales executives
• Experience in project management helpful
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, and possess a sense of urgency and flexibility
• Organization and time management skills
• Advanced computer skills in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Subject to satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing
• Spur of the moment transportation required
