Job Title: Outside Sales Executive


Location: Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote (Preferably near a major market)

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Customer Relationships: Secure freight through phone, internet, and networking.
  • Research Accounts: Identify key players and generate interest in our services.
  • Freight Commitments: Solicit daily/weekly freight commitments from customers.
  • Sales Opportunities: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Consignment Negotiation: Negotiate the successful consignment and delivery of loads with approved carriers.
  • Carrier Cultivation: Prospect and cultivate new carriers to establish capacity.
  • Utilize TMS Technology: Learn our TMS technology and utilize data in meaningful ways.
  • Problem Resolution: Actively communicate any problems with team members and be on-call in rotation with your team to resolve after-hours issues.
  • Professional Representation: Project our company with honesty, integrity, and a commitment to personal service.

Hours of Work:

  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Expected Education and Work Experience:

  • Prefer a four-year college degree with at least two years of verifiable experience within the transportation industry, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
