Overview
Corporate Banking (CB) is a technology centric business, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. Joining our team is a unique opportunity to help rebuild the core of some of our most mission critical processing systems from the ground-up. As a Business Functional Analyst, you will be supporting Corporate Bank Technology Payment Investigation domain and collaborating with business and technology leaders within the Bank. Your role will be to
work with the Business to translate business requirements into System / Functional requirements, help to strategize, align and build incremental quality software continually delivering business value in the Agile spirit; Being a member of the Bank’s technology team, you will be responsible to work within the Bank’s regulatory frame and faceoff to regulators and Auditors.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. As a Business Functional Analyst, you will be supporting Corporate Bank Technology Payment Investigation domain and collaborating with business and technology leaders within the Bank. Your role will be to
work with the Business to translate business requirements into System / Functional requirements, help to strategize, align and build incremental quality software continually delivering business value in the Agile spirit; Being a member of the Bank’s technology team, you will be responsible to work within the Bank’s regulatory frame and faceoff to regulators and Auditors.

- Captures full range of functional and non-functional specifications to support solution development within a scrum development framework, while story-writing using behavior-driven design
- Understands business architecture and applies to story definitions and non-functional requirements
- Anticipate weaknesses or problems with design and suggests improvement, Data flows and detailed data mapping, as well as business process mapping
- Work with dev for story clarification and story acceptance, dev/test for questions and story acceptance, and UAT testers for functionality questions and test scenario review
- Trouble shoot problems with processes, features, and data issues using pattern and root cause analysis, while establishing/operating within the governance (decision making) structure for the program/project and manage/escalate issues and risks
- Moderate experience in a FA role, specifically on the Payment and/or Client Experience domain
- Extensive experience in working with enterprise software applications
- Good understanding of Rest application programming interface (API’s)
- Experience using leadership capabilities to support and build client and team relationships
- Ability to express and discuss point of view in a way that both business stakeholders and dev team can understand, Detail-oriented but understands how stories fit in with the overall product goals
- Product Owner or Scrum Master Coaching certification
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Good communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with passion and expertise to share knowledge and best practices
- Excellent client and service orientation, as well as analytical skills
