Base pay range
Care Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of clerical, administrative, customer service and coordination activities in order to support member service deliveries and ongoing team responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Order services for members (equipment and supplies, transportation, personal care, etc.)
- Take requests for services from members
- Assist Nurse Care Managers with member interactions
- Take authorizations from Nurse Care Managers for processing
- High School Diploma (or General Education Degree (GED)) required.
- Some college/ Business school preferred or equal experience.
- Medical billing or terminology experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization may be required to also speak another language; necessary for communication with members.
