Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $54,000.00/yr
Summary

Care Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of clerical, administrative, customer service and coordination activities in order to support member service deliveries and ongoing team responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Order services for members (equipment and supplies, transportation, personal care, etc.)
  • Take requests for services from members
  • Assist Nurse Care Managers with member interactions
  • Take authorizations from Nurse Care Managers for processing

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or General Education Degree (GED)) required.
  • Some college/ Business school preferred or equal experience.
  • Medical billing or terminology experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization may be required to also speak another language; necessary for communication with members.
