Job Summary:



  • Our client is seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting chance to work on groundbreaking research and development projects, focusing on our advanced acoustic mixing technology and equipment



Key Responsibilities:



  • Process and Equipment Design: Develop chemical processes and equipment for manufacturing operations, from bench to production scale, concentrating on mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and process optimization.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research to create new chemical products and processes, utilizing advanced chemical engineering theories and methodologies to solve intricate problems.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, generating requirements to resolve product/process issues, and supporting the development of new products/processes.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to production teams, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and implement process control systems, including logic controllers.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other pertinent industry standards.
  • Documentation and Presentation: Prepare research reports, grant proposals, and protocols, and present findings to team members, clients, investors, government agencies, and collaborators.
  • Safety and Compliance: Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures in the workplace.


Required Qualifications:



  • Education: B.S. in Chemical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in chemical engineering research and development, with extensive experience in various industrial applications.


Preferred Skills:



  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis software.
  • Familiarity with mixing fundamentals and design parameters for conventional mixing processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and FDA regulations.
  • Enthusiasm about working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment.
  • Strong work ethic and team player qualities.

  • Relocation up to $10,000
  • Salary of up to $120,000
