IN2ERT is a proprietary platform service technology that improves the slow and costly methods of conventional purging and surface cleaning. After conventional purging, the residues left in hydrocarbon equipment such as tanks and heat exchangers continue to emit hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and lower explosive limits (LEL), causing asset owners delays on critical maintenance activities. Our IN2ERT service suppresses LELs and neutralizes H₂S for uninterrupted maintenance work. With this process, a capping layer of chemistry absorbs and suppresses volatile hydrocarbons to prevent further emission. Purging with IN2ERT uses less nitrogen, has lower emissions and has a lower risk of LEL and rework than traditional methods. In most cases, the accelerated purging process typically renders equipment safe for work within 12 hours. #LindeTechnology #LindeIsEverywhere

Linde has been awarded $10 million by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to lead the demonstration of cost-effective, standardized, and replicable advanced hydrogen fueling infrastructure for heavy-duty trucks in La Porte, Texas. The hydrogen refueling station (HRS) will offer high fueling throughput with convenient and accessible fueling options to businesses and transportation fleets in the region, as well as tube trailer filling to enable supply chain development in the Gulf Coast region. The HRS will be located in the heart of Linde’s robust hydrogen pipeline complex that supplies over 1 billion cubic feet per day of hydrogen to the area, enabling access to reliable and low-cost feedstock. The funding is part of DOE’s efforts to advance the National Clean Hydrogen Strategy to accelerate the research, development, demonstration, and deployment of next-generation clean hydrogen technologies. #Hydrogen #CleanEnergy
