Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will play a pivotal role as a key member of our Executive Leadership Team. The primary focus of this position is to drive financial integrity, operational efficiency, and strategic growth initiatives for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading companies through significant growth phases and possess strong expertise in financial management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and People Management:

• Provide strategic leadership to the accounting team, collaborating closely with the executive leadership team to foster long-term success and growth.
• Mentor and develop senior accounting team members, fostering a culture of engagement and business partnership.
  
  

Financial Performance Management

• Implement and maintain robust internal controls ensuring financial security and compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Credit, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions.
• Develop budgets aligned with strategic goals, analyze key performance indicators, and manage financial relationships with external partners.
  
  

Budgeting And Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, prepare detailed budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor monthly operating results against budgets, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  
  

Risk Management And Compliance

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  
  

Strategic Initiatives And Technology

• Support strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and digital strategy implementation.
• Collaborate with technology teams to optimize IT resources and support overall financial strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 10 years in senior financial leadership roles.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging industries preferred.
• Strong proficiency in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
