Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all departments are aligned and tasks are completed efficiently
  • Lead department heads in a way that fosters buy-in and ownership of ideas and initiatives
  • Maintain a people-first approach, ensuring a positive and growth-oriented workplace culture
  • Manage the business through effective people management and development, ensuring the best decisions are made for the company as a whole
  • Foster a culture of learning, growth, and empowerment among all employees
  • Align operational strategies with the company’s overall goals and culture
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Drive business growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and opportunity identification
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners
  • Implement performance metrics to track and improve operational efficiency
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Proven experience in running operations of a small to mid-sized business
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate department leads
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of having hard conversations and learning from them
  • Patient and empathetic, with a focus on people, service, and client satisfaction
  • A leader who leads from the back, making people feel good about learning and growing
  • Ability to discern decisions that are best for the company versus those that benefit only a department
  • No tolerance for freeloaders, drama, or excuses; commitment to accountability and results
