The COO is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of multiple production and distribution facilities. This position plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, streamline processes, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day multi-site operations, including packaging, manufacturing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products and services while maintaining high standards of quality.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction and continuous improvement.
3. Collaborate with executive leadership to set strategic goals and priorities and provide regular updates on operational performance and key metrics.
4. Conduct frequent visits to our in-state and out-of-state facilities and work with the local teams to drive a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and innovation throughout the organization.
5. Lead a team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
6. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
7. Work closely with local managers to develop solutions to day-to-day issues while developing long term strategies.
8. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in industrial engineering or similar.
2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
3. Strong communication skills, proven ability to lead, direct and motivate.
4. Ability to thrive in a high pace dynamic work environment.
5. 10 years’ experience as VP ops/COO for medium to large size plants
6. 5 years’ Multi facility management experience
7. Nutraceutical or food industry best fit.
