Position Description
A New York-based law firm is seeking a Chief Talent Officer to work closely with the firm’s Partners in the successful recruitment and integration of lateral and entry-level attorneys. This position involves advising on talent acquisition best practices, communicating with Partners regarding hiring needs, and fostering relationships with search firms and law school professionals. The CTO will be responsible for interviewing candidates, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding and training efforts. In addition, this person will spearhead the Summer Associate Program, conduct surveys, and develop other internal programs and initiatives.
Required Skills
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of legal recruiting experience. This person must be able to build strong rapport and trust with partners, associates, and candidates, while working independently in a fast-paced environment. The firm seeks a proactive individual with a keen attention to detail and the ability to take complete ownership of designing and executing talent acquisition programs. Flexibility to travel as needed is also required.
Annual Salary (US$): 300,000-400,000 /annual
