We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, a BS in Civil Engineering, and an (ideally) a MS in Environmental Engineering. We are looking for someone with a strong civil design background in large residential developments, coastal geographies, flat topographies, and ideally have experience with federal government projects. We are looking for a strong technical leader, one who can explain what they do and teach others, with experience in coastal areas such as FL, SC, NC, VA, and MD. The candidate should have a great work ethic, a winning attitude, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, a BS in Civil Engineering, and an (ideally) a MS in Environmental Engineering. Responsibilities:
- Perform site civil engineering design and plans production in Civil 3D including site layout, parking lots, driveways, water and sewer utilities, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and SWPPP.
- Prepare reports for Stormwater Management and design.
- Collaborate with design teams across offices and companies.
- Perform code research and prepare project specifications.
- Perform site visits.
- Assist with preparing design budgets and construction cost estimates.
- Assist with Environmental Resource Permitting (or similar per jurisdictional requirements)
- Coach and mentor more junior engineers with design.
- Market civil engineering services in a coastal plains region as directed.
- Ability to travel within the southeastern U.S. and nationally (including US Military and US Gov. sites)
- Ability to manage self and a small civil design team.
- Expert with Civil 3D with ability to train others.
- Strong knowledge of the geology, environment, ecology, hydrography, construction practices and regulatory environment of the coastal plains.
- Proficient with hydrology used in coastal plains area such as Stormwise (ICPR) and Surface-water Modeling System (SMS)
- Knowledgeable with hydrologic methods such as TR-55 and Rational Method.
- Knowledgeable of stormwater and environmental permitting processes in areas such as Water Management Districts in Florida, Coastal Georgia and Coastal Carolinas
- 4-year Civil Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited institution (MS in Civil Engineering is a plus)
- PE license
- Minimum 6 years of civil engineering experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
