Job Summary
We're looking for a Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our established engineering firm in Asheboro, NC. In this role, you'll be responsible for completing detailed, project-specific designs for site development, water and wastewater, and capital improvement projects. You'll work as part of a team to develop design documents for construction projects and provide engineering reports for clients needing field changes.
Responsibilities
Design and produce civil engineering construction documents (site plans, utility plan/profile, design reports, specifications) using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Assist in review agency coordination for site permitting and work in accordance with company standards from concept phase through construction administration
Make field visits to assess field issues
Perform civil utility and site design (water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, HGL modeling, fire flow design, and stormwater management) and coordinate with typical mechanical utilities
Qualifications
Able to produce drawings
Humble team player
Strong communicator and problem-solver
Experience or understanding of erosion control, drainage, site grading, and earthworks
