Job Summary And Qualifications

Assist, develop and support hospital initiatives through data collection, analysis, reporting, performance improvement and education. Design and implement performance scorecards to track key indicators. Develop and manage quality improvement projects, and create actions to improve quality metrics. Coach and facilitate prioritized hospital initiatives to achieve desired outcomes. Serve as expert user and oversee internal and external quality databases and reporting systems. Develop and generate ad hoc reports.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with health care experience, Master’s degree preferred
  • Two years of experience using large healthcare datasets including claims, EHR/EMR and health services data preferred, One year of SQL programming experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in the application of quality improvement methods, including PDSA, LEAN, Six Sigma, Control Charts, data collection, analysis and reports
  • Ability to assess and analyze data with fluency in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R and Minitab
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable and skilled at working with physicians and healthcare providers
  • Knowledge of quality data reporting systems and registries
  • Strong coaching, teaching, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of team dynamics
