Who You Are

You’re a passionate, experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician with a knack for teaching and developing others. You have a deep understanding of veterinary protocols and a proven track record of supporting and training veterinary teams. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively coach both remotely and in-person, and you’re adept at using various learning platforms. You’re excited about innovative approaches to pet care and align strongly with MySimplePetLab’s mission to make pet care simple and accessible.

What You’ll Do

As the Clinical Learning and Development Manager, you’ll create and implement comprehensive training programs for MySimplePet™Express clinic teams. You’ll develop virtual and hands-on content for all levels of staff, manage the Learning Management System, and create “train the trainer” programs. Collaborating with leadership, you’ll align training initiatives with business goals. Your role is crucial in ensuring exceptional service and fostering innovation across our expanding network of express care clinics.

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) with 5+ years of hands-on small animal clinical experience
• Natural educator, adept at both remote and in-person coaching
• Passionate advocate for pet wellness, aligned with MySimplePetLab’s mission
• Champion of team growth and development through innovative learning strategies
• Proven track record in nurturing and elevating veterinary teams in clinical settings
• Exceptional communicator with strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
• In-depth knowledge of veterinary protocols and cutting-edge healthcare delivery approaches
• Keen awareness of multi-state veterinary and vet tech regulatory landscapes
• Tech-savvy professional, proficient in Microsoft Suite
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive learning programs for all team members, including virtual and hands-on content for orientation, onboarding, safety, and clinical training
• Strategic Alignment: Focus training on delivering exceptional service experiences, aligning with MySimplePetLab business objectives and growth plans
• Innovation: Organize and execute tactical training programs, exploring new tools and technologies to enhance services
• Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership to integrate veterinary technician initiatives into overall business strategy
• LMS Management: Own the development and implementation of MySimplePet™Express Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Project Oversight: Provide direction and oversight for all clinical learning projects and initiatives
• Cross-Functional Communication: Ensure effective cross- functional communication between Medical, Operations, and other teams
• Customer Experience: Prioritize exceptional customer experiences for pet parents in training protocols
• Process Improvement: Develop and streamline training processes, removing obstacles to meet or exceed learning expectations
• Trainer Development: Create “train the trainer” programs for field team leaders and trainers
