Job Title: Cloud Operator - Azure with Intune or SCCM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Operator with expertise in Microsoft Azure, along with hands-on experience in either Microsoft Intune or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in support of the US Navy. The ideal candidate should also possess practical knowledge in managing endpoints and ensuring their security and optimal performance within a cloud environment. This is a cleared role and individuals should possess a Secret or higher clearance.
Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud Management:
Deploy, configure, and manage resources on Microsoft Azure
Monitor and optimize Azure infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Azure
Endpoint Management:
Configure and manage endpoints within a cloud environment, ensuring security and compliance
Implement and maintain endpoint security measures and policies
Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint-related issues promptly
Intune or SCCM Expertise:
Utilize Microsoft Intune or SCCM for efficient endpoint management and deployment
Create and manage software deployment packages, policies, and compliance settings
Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in Intune or SCCM
Automation and Scripting:
Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline cloud and endpoint management tasks
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for consistent and repeatable deployments
Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish and maintain monitoring solutions for both cloud resources and endpoints
Generate reports on system performance, usage, and security compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
Security+ Certification
Proven experience as a Cloud Operator, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience with either Microsoft Intune or SCCM for endpoint management
Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and best practices
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
Certification in Intune or SCCM
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus
Knowledge of modern endpoint security solutions and practices
