Communications Assistant

Barrier Roofs is seeking a reliable and organized Communications Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for answering phones and scheduling appointments, managing a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between our clients and service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering Phones: Handle a high volume of inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Scheduling Appointments: Schedule and manage appointments for roofing consultations, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Customer Support: Assist customers with their questions, provide information about our services, and ensure their needs are met.
• Message Taking: Accurately take messages and ensure they are communicated to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records of all customer interactions and appointments.
• Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide any necessary updates to customers.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably handling high call volumes.
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Acculynx experience a plus.
