Communications Assistant - Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies to promote events and campaigns
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications
  • Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and fundraising events
  • Monitor media coverage and manage public relations efforts
  • Handle incoming inquiries from media, stakeholders, and the public
  • Help maintain and update the company's website and social media channels
  • Assist in drafting and editing marketing materials and reports
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Passion for making a difference and contributing to charitable causes
  • Previous experience in communications or marketing is a plus but not required
