Your Tasks And Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role,Communications Coordinator US Communications, are to:

  • Support the Communications team on key communications projects, such as newsletters, town halls, content creation, web and events.
  • Support key Whippany site activities by supporting Site Board, and key projects of this team. Create and execute engagement plan to foster culture and engagement at the site.
  • Provide content creation for speaking engagements and key meetings for key voices to enable Bayer’s business.
  • Provide backup administrative support and onsite support for SVP/VPs of Comms in NJ area, working closely with other department administrative staff.
  • Manage key events onsite at Whippany from planning to execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or Business Administration or related field of study, and 2-3 years practical experience in the Communications field. Internships demonstrating impact do count.
  • Knowledge of email distribution platforms, Outlook, Teams, Canvas, Sprinklr, etc
  • Experience working with senior executives.
  • Ability to write and produce clear, compelling, creative content for a variety of channels.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency; thrives in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter and takes ownership of work.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, collaboration skills; instills trust and builds trustful relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
  • Travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health industries a plus.
