We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join the Retail Engagement and Marketing Team. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in producing clear and well-written communications under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting communication initiatives that impact the day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business to develop thoughtful, strategic, and engaging communication materials for a global audience.
- Cultivate relationships with key business partners to ensure effective communication delivery.
- Design and execute strategic communication plans for operational events.
- Collaborate with retail groups to streamline and reduce overall communication efforts.
- Provide editing assistance to team members and offer writing support as needed.
- Assist in building out an operational planning process.
- Analyze content metrics and influence content design standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience writing communications in a publication, web publishing, advertising agency, or in-house creative environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. English style, usage, grammar, and punctuation. Familiarity with style guides or the Chicago Manual of Style is desirable.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity using Macs and web-publishing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while thriving under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
