As our Compensation Manager, you will partner with senior leaders, People Operations and Management Company Finance to manage compensation processes across our growing organization. This role will also be responsible for headcount planning and other human capital metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the annual bonus process. Review processes annually to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness and recommend process improvements as necessary
  • Lead compensation benchmarking and work with key compensation data vendors
  • Provide recommendations on compensation for new roles
  • Manage job leveling / job architecture, including periodic refreshes of our compensation plans and develop job levels for new roles as the company grows
  • Assist with compensation recommendations for promotions processes
  • Manage deferred compensation award administration, including working with vendors
  • Track and ensure timely payment of all key compensation elements. Ensure data accuracy and consistency among different sources. Work with Recruiting to review offer letters prior to sending to ensure compensation elements are clear and consistent with our plans/approved amounts
  • Ensure HRIS and Finance data repositories have up to date information. Potentially implement new compensation management system
  • Maintain and enhance headcount planning / compensation forecasting processes and enhance reporting on key human capital metrics (across HR and Recruiting)
  • Contribute to talent management initiatives such as organizational design, engagement survey analysis and action planning, and talent reviews

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a compensation administration or management role, with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience developing and administering complex compensation programs
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking databases, in particular McLagan and Radford
  • Experience developing compensation structures and processes
  • Experience implementing compensation management tools and technologies
  • Strong expertise in MSOffice suite, in particular Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to quickly establish relationships and credibility with leaders
  • Demonstrated business acumen, judgment, and decision making
  • Ability to be flexible within a growing organization. Able to clearly articulate the case for change and translate business priorities into effective compensation structures and headcount growth plans
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
