About The Role

Brighton Health Plan Solutions, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of a highly regulated health insurance company (“Parent”). The Project Manager - Compliance oversees and coordinates a wide range of compliance and policy requirements applicable to both the Parent and Brighton. The Project Manager - Compliance will work with compliance, legal and business units of both Brighton and the Parent to ensure conformance with critical compliance and policy requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Principal contact between Brighton and Parent for compliance matters.

Coordinates the work of joint committees.

Identifies agenda topics and matters impacting compliance.

Maintains records of relevant meetings.

Reviews regulatory and compliance related communications and distributes to applicable Brighton departments.

Assesses Brighton compliance with regulatory and policy matters.

Develops training on policies.

Audits compliance with policies.

Principal contact with Parent for all HIPAA, Privacy and Regulatory Matters.

Collaborates with Parent to identify Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) of 2021 compliance issues and coordinates Brighton’s development and implementation of solutions to address any identified compliance gaps.

Assists the Chief Compliance Officer in the day-to-day operation of the Brighton compliance programs and activities.

Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations and monitors developments in key areas to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Compliance or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Two (2) years’ compliance or legal related experience in a healthcare, financial or regulatory environment.

Familiarity with healthcare compliance matters, operational, financial, quality assurance, internal investigation and human resource procedures preferred.

Experience in project management.

Outstanding verbal/written communication, organizational and relationship building skills required.

Experience managing and resolving complex organizational issues.

Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
