Oversee reconciliation of project accountants.
Conduct in-depth cost analysis and financial evaluations to optimize project profitability.
Collaborate with project managers to assess financial performance.
Monitor project budgets, identifying and addressing variances in a timely manner.
Coordinate with external auditors for project audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Remain attuned to the dynamic landscape of accounting regulations and industry benchmarks, adapting to modifications as deemed necessary.
Play a proactive role in preserving compliance with internal controls while also taking part in the deployment of process enhancements to optimize operational efficiency.
Extend your support to special projects and engage in ad-hoc reporting assignments as designated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, specifically in the construction industry.
Expertise in construction accounting principles, cost accounting, and project financial analysis.
Proficiency in construction management software and financial systems.
Effective communication skills to liaise with project managers, executives, and external auditors.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Ability to mentor Project Accountants as needed.
