Construction Coordinator

Our client is a resort developer doing residential construction in multiple markets as well as commercial construction and land development. They are looking for a Construction Coordinator for their Inlet Beach, FL location.

Salary Range: $60-70k + (flexible/based on experience) + 100% COMPANY PAID INSURANCE for employees and dependents.

Summary

The Construction coordinator is to provide assistance to project managers and project superintendents for all phases of construction projects, including permitting, construction schedules, coordination of bidding, subcontract agreements, material procurement, project reports and assisting teams to ensure

work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Construction Coordinator will also have communication and coordination with clients, material suppliers, and subcontractors.

Primary Responsibilities: Execute permitting submissions and coordination throughout project Input and maintain accurate data in project management software Reach out to clients, subcontractors, and vendors to coordinate project activities Assist in creating bid packages and preparing estimates for projects Assist project managers in updating project documentation Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to address project-related inquiries and issues Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information internally. Execute clerical and general office duties such as setting up filing systems, data entry, copying, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks for special projects as requested Performing minor accounting duties Assist in managing calendars, including making appointments, and facilitating meetings Education and/or Experience: Minimum high school education Minimum 2 years construction experience is required General knowledge of construction trades and be computer-literate Experience in construction trades and knowledge of project delivery is desirable Office experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) Ability to read and interpret construction documents such as blueprint drawings, permits, etc. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees
