Our revolutionary app-based booking and payment platform makes scheduling, paying, tipping, and rating easy, breezy, Squeezy. Similar to Postmates and Uber, after a Squeeze massage, instead of dealing with a clunky, stressful checkout process, our guests simply float out with the ability to tip and rate their therapist at their leisure post-massage. Personalized services allow guests to select massage preferences as well as control in-room settings from lighting to sound, all in a beautifully designed space. It’s a completely fresh approach to a way better massage experience.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee national construction projects for Squeeze Massage. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge from the construction industry, demonstrating a successful history of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion. This role demands excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Development.

What You'll Do

  • Project Oversight
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate construction projects to ensure objectives are met
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets

  • Leadership
    • Lead a team of 3rd party construction professionals, including subcontractors and vendors

  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Act as the primary point of contact for franchisees, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively to ensure all project requirements and expectations are met
    • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process

  • Quality Control
    • Monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards
    • Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures
    • Ensure all projects adhere to brand standards and specifications

  • Financial Management
    • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-efficiency
    • Prepare and present financial reports, including budget forecasts and expenditures

  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time
    • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to stakeholders as required
What You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with experience in retail and franchising projects preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Strong team management capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites (~20%)
