Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring a Construction Manager for a Fortune 200 Energy client on-site in North Palm Beach, FL.

The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning and organizing all aspects of the task related to the relevant projects. As part of this role, the manager will have to oversee the works of his peers acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project.

Scope:

Responsible for coordinating and managing construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. Responsible to assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality and safety performance on the project. Responsible to manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approve contractor payment requests, verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocations, assess field status and resolve issues as needed. Responsible for scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors are effectively implementing their assignments and obtaining the desired results. Provides leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station and division goals and validating each performers ability to impact those goals.
