Construction/Project Manager

Job Description

The Construction/Project Manager will be manage all aspects of new solar energy construction projects from inception to completion. This includes managing project budgets, scheduling and resources, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. This is an "in office" position located near Napoleon, OH; preference given to local residents.

Responsibilities:

• Manage solar projects from the design stage thru completion/commissioning
• Participate in project meetings and propose improvements/ideas/solutions
• Work with 3rd party and in-house engineering to optimize system design for construction and apply for permits/interconnection
• Coordinate and manage all subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficiency and organization
• Create and manage project construction schedule and budgets
• Effectively communicate project progress to other team members and stakeholders and resolve any issues/conflicts
  
  

Skills/Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field preferred
• 1 year of professional experience in commercial construction and/or solar industry
• Experience in electrical construction highly preferred, but not necessary
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-starter with an ability to think proactively and see projects to completion
• Proficient with basic software tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
• Willingness and ability to learn common industry practices
• Willingness to travel to jobsites (mostly day trips)
