WHO YOU’RE WORKING FOR:


As a venture creation studio, Starshot Ventures incubates CPG brands in the health and wellness space. This role is working specifically for RNWY, a sports nutrition brand focused on supporting and fueling athletes on their journeys. Please send a portfolio and/or samples of video content on TikTok and Instagram to kylie@starshot.ventures - content featuring runners and/or athletes is a big plus.


COMPENSATION AND TIMING:

  • 20-hours weekly (paid hourly)
  • 3-6 month internship


ROLE SUMMARY:


RNWY is excited to hire a new Content Creator Marketing Intern who is deeply immersed in the dynamic world of content creation. This intern works closely with RNWY’s founders as well as the marketing team to regularly decode emerging social trends, conceptualize and produce engaging video content, and optimize for maximum visibility by leveraging trends, hashtags, and sounds. Working closely with our design and influencer teams, the intern will also leverage tools like Capcut for visual needs and delve into social analytics to refine strategies based on performance metrics and community feedback. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in defining a brand's social presence on one of the world's fastest-growing social media platforms.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and Ideation: Conduct market research to generate topic ideas that resonate with RNWY’s target audience.
  • Keep abreast of the latest content marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Content Creation: Draft, edit, and produce high-quality written, visual, or multimedia content for RNWY and post to social platforms.
  • Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that highlight our consumer products effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with marketing goals and product launches.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling content for timely publication across different channels.
  • Organize and maintain a content calendar and repository, ensuring easy access and updates.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social trends and content formats to incorporate into the RNWY content strategy; analyze competitor content and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with relevant creators and influencers to expand RNWY’s reach and credibility; develop co-branded content, giveaways, and challenges in collaboration with influencers.
  • SEO Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and optimize content for search engine visibility and ranking.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on content performance metrics, including engagement rates, conversion rates, and website traffic.
  • Monitor comments and feedback on published content, engaging with readers when appropriate.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Act on feedback from the marketing team and audience to improve content quality and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all content is free from errors and inconsistencies and adheres to the brand's style guide.
  • Support Marketing Campaigns: Assist in content-driven marketing campaigns, ensuring content aligns with campaign goals and strategies.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This person must be active (ideally a runner), as the vast majority of your work will be creating content by runners, for runners
  • Proven track record of creating engaging content on Instagram & TikTok
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram’s platform, algorithm, and trends
  • Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and post-production techniques
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to convey brand messaging creatively
  • Familiarity with consumer products and the ability to present them in an appealing manner
  • Experience in collaborating with influencers and content creators is a bonus
  • Adept at adapting content to different target demographics and audiences
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate student with a keen interest in marketing and social media
  • Passion for health and wellness
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Google Slides, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Proficient in Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
  • Proficient in Capcut
  • Majoring in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, Creative Writing, Photography/Art or related field
