Content Creator (Remote Canada)

The base salary for this role is: $45,000 - $75,000 CDN

What You’ll Do

• Trend Identification: Spot emerging trends and opportunities on social media, quickly generating and presenting content concepts that align with our brand while participating in online conversations.
• Collaborative Ideation: Work with our team to brainstorm and plan content monthly, ensuring a consistent and engaging social media presence. Proactively research and recommend new ideas, solutions, and content strategies for our brands.
• Content Creation: Develop, shoot, and edit compelling stories that meet the unique standards of each social platform. Your creativity and technical skills will shine as you produce high-quality visual and written content.
• Multi-Task Management: Juggle multiple priorities and assignments, executing with rapid turnaround times. Capture trending moments in real-time and edit quickly and efficiently to deliver high-quality work on time and with accuracy.
• Copywriting: Write on-brand copy for various marketing materials, including social media posts, emails, and other digital assets. Your words will resonate with our audience and reinforce our brand identity.
• Visual Storytelling: Conceptualize and execute captivating visual stories—both videos and stills—that resonate with our audience and effectively communicate our brand message and values. Use your creative vision and storytelling skills to craft narratives that capture attention, evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and leave a lasting impression.
• On-Camera Presence: Represent our brand comfortably in front of the camera, bringing energy and authenticity to our content.
• Data-Driven Storytelling: Utilize data to inform and enhance your storytelling, ensuring our content is both engaging and effective.
• Community Engagement: Actively respond to comments and engage with our audience, fostering a sense of community and building strong customer relationships.
• Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with our senior leadership team to bring our brand vision to life, contributing your creative insights and expertise to shape our content strategy.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience in content creation, preferably in digital marketing or a social media role.
• Social Media Savvy: Extensive knowledge of social platforms and how to navigate them effectively.
• Versatility: Experience being both in front of and behind the camera, showcasing your ability to connect with the audience and produce quality content.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in editing and developing full-cycle content, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with Adobe Suite is a plus
