  • As a Salesforce Technical Debt Analyst, the primary responsibility of this role is to reduce technical debt within our CRM system by thoroughly analyzing various components, including fields, validation rules, objects, and other sections of the CRM. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail to ensure that our CRM system remains optimized and efficient. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the client and its ecosystem, possess a relentless curiosity, and excel at converting ideas into action.


Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of CRM components, including fields, validation rules, objects, workflows, and other configurations, to identify technical debt.
  • Work closely with the CRM engineering team to prioritize and address identified technical debt.
  • Validate the necessity of identified technical debt and ensure that it can be safely removed or refactored.
  • Craft best practices in coordination with Operations and Salesforce Architect to ensure the CRM system is scalable and efficient.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of identified technical debt, analysis processes, and resolutions.
  • Provide recommendations for ongoing CRM system improvements to prevent future technical debt accumulation.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to explain the impact of technical debt and the benefits of addressing it.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Extensive experience with Salesforce architecture, including deep knowledge of fields, validation rules, objects, workflows, and other configurations.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex CRM structures and identify inefficiencies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in analysis and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer) are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully reducing technical debt in Salesforce CRM environments.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong understanding of CRM best practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to prioritize/manage work and problem-solve autonomously Start-up/tech experience preferred A deep connection to client's mission and core values
