At Firefly, we are looking for a talented US-based Content Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team and drive our content strategy to new heights. This is a fully remote position.

As our Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals, resonates with our technical audience, and drives engagement across multiple channels. You will create compelling, high-quality content that educates and inspires our target market while positioning our company as a thought leader in the SaaS and DevOps space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a content calendar that supports our marketing objectives and product roadmap. Own strategy and outputs for thought leadership, technical content, and SEO.
  • Create and curate engaging, technically-accurate content across various formats (blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, videos, podcasts, etc).
  • Collaborate with product teams, subject matter experts, and customers to produce in-depth, valuable content
  • Repurpose content in multiple formats to be utilized and distributed natively across various channels (social media channels, partner sites, etc).
  • Utilize modern tooling to scale output of SEO content production.
  • Manage and grow our blog and Academy, ensuring consistent quality and frequency of posts.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to refine our content strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the SaaS and DevOps space.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience in the DevOps, cloud computing, or enterprise software industries.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques, as well as modern best practices and trends in Search and AI optimization.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CMS platforms.
  • Extremely curiosity-driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive others to deadlines.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual content presentation.
  • Technical background or demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical concepts - a big advantage.
