The C ontinuous I mprovement E xpedite M anager responsibilities include ensuring that development teams follow standard processes and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.

What You'll Do

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzing company processes and procedures.
  • Establishing norms and standards of company performance.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
  • Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.
  • Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes.
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in management and process optimization.
  • Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
  • Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Creating and tracking expedite lists to reduce backorders and improve OTIF.
  • Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
  • Managing and expediting the escalation list created by customer care

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Managing the expediters work.
  • Managing expediters time work.
  • Delivering expediters performance reviews.
  • Monitoring backorder reduction, and OTIF.
  • Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
  • Developing process enhancement strategies.
  • Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the expedite team.
  • Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
  • Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

Who You Are

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five years' experience in process optimization, operations, or business management.
  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • An excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Confidence in your abilities to lead organizational change
  • Prior experience on a project team
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in processes
  • Ability to determine what drives backorders
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Time Management; 70% Leading continuous improvement in regard to backorders, expedite lists and teams and 30% Project Planning- Meetings-Presentations
  • Mathematical Skills; must be able to calculate and determine accuracy of staff’s calculations  
  • Reasoning Ability; must be able to assess complex situations and make appropriate decisions 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • SAFe/PMP preferred
