Are you an experienced accountant looking for a flexible remote opportunity? We're seeking a talented Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll manage various accounting functions, including general ledger activities, payroll, and benefits, all while working from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
Handle general ledger accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes with a focus on payroll, benefits, and intercompany accounting.
Analyze financial data to detect trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support accrual processes and provide valuable business insights.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with external audits.
Required Skills
Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm (KPMG, EY, PwC, or Deloitte).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
CPA/CA certification or currently on the path to obtaining it.
Requirements
Strong technical and operational knowledge in accounting.
Excellent organizational, administrative, and analytical skills.
At least 3 years of accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of accounting experience in a technology firm or a high-growth company within a SOX environment.
Experience with Accounting ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
CPA or Chartered Accountant certification.
Familiarity with Blackline systems.
