Contract Analyst [75939]

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Contract Analyst for an Entertainment client.

This is a 3+ month opportunity. The role is located in Los Angeles, CA and hybrid.

Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Draft, review, redline, and manage procurement contracts, vendor agreements, and related documents.
• Stakeholder Communication: Update clients and stakeholders on contract and deal status.
• Compliance and Risk: Provide guidance on contract management, negotiation, compliance, and identify risks related to Data Privacy and Information Security.
• Negotiation Support: Negotiate legal terms, explain them to clients, and assist with interpreting contract terms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other departments to minimize risk exposure.
• Bid and RFP Support: Help prepare bid documents, RFPs, and contract terms for procurement activities.
• Administrative Tasks: Use procurement tools, assist in vendor onboarding, and review purchase orders for compliance.
• Relationship Building: Maintain strong internal and external relationships and adapt to changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years in contract drafting, negotiation, and subscription management.
• Education: Paralegal Certificate or BS/BA preferred; JDs considered.
• Skills: Familiarity with procurement, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tools like Ariba, SharePoint, and CLM systems.
• Tech Knowledge: Understanding of the technology industry (software, hardware, SaaS, AI) is a plus.
