Job Description:
Estuary is seeking a talented and experienced freelance Technical Writer with a strong foundation in creating SEO-friendly content to join our team on a project basis.
In this role, you will collaborate with our SEO Specialist & subject matter experts to edit and optimize the content featured on our blog. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring our blog content is informative, engaging, and well-optimized for search engines. While the initial focus will be on editing blog posts, there is the potential for this role to expand to include editing our internal technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with our SEO specialist & subject matter experts to edit and improve blog posts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Write engaging, high-quality content (avoiding AI-generated content) for various online platforms (website, blog, social media, official documents etc.)
Conduct in-depth keyword research for assigned blog topics to identify high-potential search terms and optimize content for maximum visibility.
Manage the schedule and timeline of content creation and publication.
Collaborate with other writers, editors & SEO specialists and receive feedback and suggestions.
Review and edit technical documentation, maintaining high-quality, user-friendly content.
Ensure that all content aligns with Estuary's branding and messaging guidelines
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a strong portfolio
Demonstrated expertise in SEO, including keyword research and proficiency in SEO & Keyword research tools.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail
Familiarity with data operations concepts, technologies, and tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and meet deadlines.
Experience optimizing technical content for search
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and version control systems is a plus.
