Job Description
An intermediate-level electrical engineering role centered on executing both routine and intricate activities and responsibilities pertaining to the design of high-voltage substations (15kV to 765kV).
Estimating, engineering, and conducting design analysis for both new and retrofit switchyard and substation projects, reaching up to 765kV.
Designing and adjusting relaying one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, relay panels, DC and AC auxiliary systems, and SCADA systems.
Carrying out calculations including short circuit analysis, voltage drop, circuit ampacities, etc.
Developing material specifications and overseeing budget and schedule adherence for assigned tasks.
Qualifcations
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE). EIT certification preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of field experience with comprehensive knowledge of relevant theories, practices, and established procedures.
Demonstrates the capacity to swiftly expand expertise by undertaking structured functional assignments, including data collection and analysis for specific tasks.
Capable of independently managing individual projects or contributing significantly to broader initiatives.
Proficient in computer operations with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
