Controller

Our client, a successful, boutique law firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join their team. If you have a strong background in law firm financial management and a passion for driving financial success, this opportunity is for you.

Position: Controller

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 base (depending on experience) (+ bonus + benefits)

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is essential. Additional certifications such as an MBA, CPA, or CLM are a definite plus.
• A proven track record of 7-10 years (or more) in financial management within a law firm, demonstrating both success and leadership.
• Advanced computer and technical skills are a must, with high proficiency in Excel. Experience with Coyote Analytics is preferred but not required.
• Quick learner with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to find solutions independently.
• Exceptional organizational skills to ensure timely handling of matters, preventing any details from slipping through the cracks.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, planning, and managing within a client-oriented environment, driving the finance and accounting team to consistently achieve priorities and goals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with multi-state issues and Pass-Through Entity Tax (PTET) is preferred.
