Assists the Senior Director in the development and operational oversight of membership and outreach for Campus Recreation
Assists in the development and operational oversight of membership operations including but not limited to membership sales, locker sales, member inquires, and Fusion access privileges.
Assists in the development of membership and outreach materials to support the recruitment, retention, and satisfaction of members.
Collaborates with business services to ensure appropriate cash handling practices are being completed in accordance with university policy maintain membership, database, and manage reports including membership fluctuation retention figures.
Assists in managing Fusion registration process for programs, services, reservations, and rentals.
Supports and facilitates reservations and rentals when assigned.
Collaborates with marketing to create effective campaigns for member outreach.
Works with department HR Contact in WRC to submit transactions on behalf of the department.
Recruits, trains, supervises and evaluates student staff and other wage rate employees.
Communicates and provides job responsibilities, expectations, training, mentoring, and leadership development to student employees.
Plans and conducts staff meetings and training sessions for membership and outreach.
Ensures compliance with all University cash handling procedures. Assists with the development and editing of staff training manuals and materials.
Supports the Senior Director with assigned administrative tasks.
Assists with the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual reports.
Develops a collaborative working relationship with professional staff, student employees and university leaders.
Serves as an active member on committees and work groups.
Serves as the merchant account's primary contact or technical contact; Handles sensitive cardholder information and/or processes credit card transactions for the department/unit; Will have access to a third-party system (software, gateway, etc.) that processes, transmits, and/or store cardholder information. Handles cash, check, or credit card transactions as needed.
Bachelor degree in related discipline. CPR/Standard First Aid Certification or must obtain certification within 45 days of employment.
