To further our mission, we're in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our manufacturing company's global headquarters finance team. This role takes ownership of budget process execution, period end reporting for internal and external customers, variance analysis, financial modeling, and providing well-informed recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.

We're looking for a candidate with strong project management skills, analytical capabilities, effective communication, and a solid grasp of financial concepts and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate would have a background in a private equity ownership environment, and corporate finance functions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide planning and analysis and provide guidance to key stakeholders across the company, including budget modeling and forecast process.
  • Lead the long-term financial plan and works with business unit leaders on the linkage to our strategic plan
  • Create and maintain complex financial models to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop standardized methods and processes across the various business units.
  • Consolidate analysis provided by business units, and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Perform price, volume, mix and cost analysis compared with prior year and forecasts and provide insights behind the numbers
  • Prepares analysis, commentary and presentation materials for board meetings and other executive leadership meetings
  • Owns consolidation and reporting for Price and Inflation/Deflation analysis.
  • Provide insightful commentary on financial results, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support requests from Private Equity firm, Leadership team, and other Cross Functional teams.
  • Identify process improvements within the FP&A function and drive initiatives to streamline reporting, enhance data accuracy, and increase efficiency.
  • Contribute to special projects and provide data-driven support.
  • Support mergers, acquisition and divesture activities as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And ABILITIES

  • Project management: ability to apply sound business judgment, research and analytical skills
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in complex financial analysis and data interpretation. Drive to dig deep into complexities, resolve inconsistencies, and synthesize data to actionable insight.
  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial planning software such as Hyperion HFM, Hyperion Planning, Oracle, Tableau preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business Partnership: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, meets deadlines, handles multiple projects.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.

Experience

5-7 years in increasing roles of responsibility in accounting or finance. Previous FP&A experience is a plus. Prior experience in Public accounting or investment banking is a plus.
