Overview

Position: Corporate Project Coordinator

Salary: $60-65k (DOE)

Location: Remote/ Hybrid two days a week if you reside within 30 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX area

Position Summary

Seeking a highly skilled, driven, detailed, motivated and well-spoken Project Coordinator to work alongside business stakeholders within our Initiative Management Office (iMO). This is an excellent opportunity for a current Project Coordinator that wishes to collaborate with brilliant individuals working to achieve and develop new goals and ultimately reach new levels of success.

This individual will need to be very detail oriented, willing to learn multiple project management methods and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Six Sigma, etc., be able to coordinate multiple projects and ideas at any given time, help take on the responsibility of helping various teams plan and execute projects to achieve business goals, help create project plans, track team's progress against that plan, communicate with stakeholders, and remove any barriers that might prevent a team for being successful all while maintaining a collaborative, upbeat and can do attitude. It is imperative that they promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and success.

This position is part of the Initiative Management Office (iMO) within NAF, the central hub for overseeing projects and programs aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The iMO, composed of Project/Program Management, Organizational Change Management, and Business Analysis, engages directly with high-level stakeholders to ensure effective initiative execution and adoption. iMO’s focus is primarily on strategic alignment that maximizes business benefits and stakeholder returns, driving the company towards its key objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities:
    • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules
    • Organizing, attending, and participating in project and stakeholder meetings.
    • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
    • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
    • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
    • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
    • Providing administrative support as needed.
    • Undertaking project tasks as required.
    • Assisting Project Managers in documenting and developing project strategies.
    • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
    • Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
    • Ensuring stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
    • Creating a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
    • Writing up relevant project documentation.
    • Supporting iMO leadership in day-to-day activities.
    • Ensuring that the highest quality standards are met.

  • Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards
  • Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioral and contextual elements of a project
  • Coordinating large- and small-scale projects

  • Good business writing and math skills

Desired Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • At least two years’ experience in this field of work is preferred.
