Our client is a prominent player in the ceramic tiles manufacturing industry, active in 125 country and specialized in delivering high-quality products for various projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Country Sales Director to join their North America team.

Requirements

Highlights:

  • Manage and develop business in North America by leading strategy
  • Manage sales, marketing and administrative activities of the company (start-up flair)
  • Full P&L responsibility of the North American market Tasks


Responsibilities:

  • To formulate and implement long and short-term plans to achieve approved targets regarding volume, sales, margin, market share, financial goals, investment and human resources
  • To develop and manage the business expansion of company's portfolio in the North American market
  • To work closely with Global Marketing and Commercial Excellence Teams in HQ (Istanbul)
  • To manage all day-to day activities to maximise profitability and growth goals with a hands-on approach
  • To lead, develop and manage the sales efforts at all channels (National retailer, Home Improvement Centers, retailers, e-com) - To develop information processes and maintain awareness and judgement in areas such as market conditions, competitive activities, customer's product and service needs in order to maintain market awareness
  • To be alert and adjust strategies in accordance with general economic conditions
  • To ensure customer satisfaction levels are achieved and maintained
  • To ensure business is conducted in accordance with the Company Ethics policy, Quality System and Trade Compliance procedures in line with legal and legislative aspects of the market
  • To establish and maintain key customer contacts and relationships


Requirements:

  • The person should be a self-starter, independent, business developer with a strong analytical background
  • He/she should be visionary and has an entrepreneur spirit - Growth ambition and can-do attitude
  • Experience in leading a business across different geographies (US wide)
  • Customer focused
  • Strong on negotiation, stakeholder and relationship management
  • Ready to travel extensively
