As Creative Labs, we sit within the product org focused on enhancing promotional creative that appears on the platform. We exist to contribute innovative creative design & tech expertise to help our internal partners make leaps forward using promotional creative. We are not a product UI team, but develop thinking that can help evolve the product promotional experience and creative approaches. Each year, we identify specific areas of focus related to product evolutions, member needs, or innovative opportunities. We draw upon outside inspiration, member research, and our institutional knowledge to develop insight informed promotional approaches and creative prototypes that are used by the broader organization as best-practice, inspirational, impactful guides.
The Role
As our strategy team continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for a Contractor Creative Content/Design Strategist to support our strategy team. In this role, you will support lead strategists across a variety of projects with gathering foundational insights, categorical observations, and creative inspiration to help inform the development of creative strategies. You will be part content strategist and part design strategist, drawing insights from both to help develop promotional creative strategies and approaches. These strategies will be used to guide the development of promotional creative best practices, creative design systems, new promotional creative formats and executional treatments, and new promotional approaches.

The Role
As our strategy team continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for a Contractor Creative Content/Design Strategist to support our strategy team. In this role, you will support lead strategists across a variety of projects with gathering foundational insights, categorical observations, and creative inspiration to help inform the development of creative strategies. The role will report to one of the Creative Strategist IC’s.
In this role you will...
- Support a lead strategist, who will outline specific areas that require auditing competitor platforms, promotional creative campaigns and assets, and broader sources of inspiration to provide the foundational knowledge in which strategies are developed from.
- You will be responsible for analyzing and breaking down creative content, promotional campaigns, on-product promotional experience designs to identify consistent patterns, standout creative elements, and opportunities to inspire innovation or inform best practices.
- You will synthesize these findings into summary reports with actionable insights, key takeaways, and potential implications.
- In working with the lead strategist, you will help shape potential recommendations, creative strategies, and frameworks that would help guide internal development of promotional creative treatments, designs, and occasionally inform how promotional creative can supplement the on-product promotional design.

- 7+ years of strategy experience at a creative and/or design agency
- A strong focus on content and/or design strategy.
- Experience with conducting desktop research as competitive audits, content analyses, creative inspiration gathering
- Experience with developing strategic insights that inspire creative content development and/or promotional experience design
- You have experience supporting Strategy Directors and above on the agency side
- Excellent writing skills. Can tell a story through written memo’s or decks.
- Comfortable with Google suite and Slack
- Comfortable with remote work, supporting a remote team
- You are a creative thinker
- Very agile, flexible and open - experience navigating through undefined or evolving projects
- You are an excellent communicator, presenter, and storyteller
- $80-87/hr.
