Harbinger Marketing is looking to hire a full-time Creative Director.

The Person

As a team member of Harbinger Marketing, this person must demonstrate strong:

  • Creative Competence - The ability to intuitively know what is needed in order to accomplish a brand or marketing objective involving multiple marketing disciplines. These disciplines include but are not limited to creating and editing websites, copywriting, sales, print design, logos, video ads, etc.
  • Self-Confidence – Confidence in one’s own abilities, capabilities, and judgments.
  • Standard of Work - Work with a spirit of excellence in all that you do. This includes producing optimized financial deliverables, both internal and external, with a high standard of attention to detail.
  • Passion for partners - A drive to see the success of our partners and our team. The Creative Director will be part of initially planning our partner's websites and designing them based on assessments of a partner's needs. The heartbeat of Harbinger Marketing is understanding and helping small business owners achieve their goals.
  • Professionalism - Effective communication with the team and partners. Must become knowledgeable of all facets of Harbinger Marketing systems and operations, along with presenting a pedigreed personal image both externally and internally. The Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Creative Director to be the founder and leader of our company's creative department. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to nurture and maximize the talents of our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership and Quality Assurance: The Creative Director will carry the ultimate responsibility of ensuring the appropriate level of creative quality for the work produced by our organization. This involves direct involvement in creating and designing websites, in new partner development and closing deals for new partners, in leading the UI/UX team, in presentations for new websites with an understanding of the costs involved in creating websites and deliverables, along with involvement with creative videos and branding concepts. Additionally, the Director will serve as a triage for existing partners experiencing creative challenges or multiple rounds of revisions, working closely with the partner's team to refine output.
  • Collaborating with Department Heads: The Creative Director will work closely with every department to elevate both the quality and the thinking behind the work Harbinger produces. This includes new partner assessments to elevate initial brand concepts, website designs, video concepts, and high-level strategy.
  • Creative Process Development: The Creative Director will be leading website planning and design, will be creating systems, processes and guides that can be applied to future partnerships and will implement ways to streamline production and ensure consistent quality across all platforms including video, web, copywriting, social media, and email.
  • Brand Alignment and Partner Interaction: The Creative Director will be leading brand alignment workshops for high-value prospects, potentially involving travel alongside sales development managers and marketing directors and helping to close deals. Responsibilities will also include writing video ads and cornerstone copy for new projects and assisting partners in resolving issues by responding to questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Innovation and Trends: The Creative Director will be evaluating trends, assessing new data, and keeping up-to-date with the latest marketing techniques. Responsibilities will also include directing brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
  • Portfolio Management: The Creative Director will be responsible for maintaining and elevating portfolio diversity and shaping brand standards to ensure all work products are brand appropriate in a way that no longer will need ongoing support. Responsibilities will also include developing exceptional and well-crafted copy that meets partners’ requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in the creative fields, particularly with Branding, Copywriting, UI/UX, Website Design/Development and Video Production.
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills with creative teams and partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Adept, creative, and strategic thinker.
